New IIS install on XP Pro Dev Machine - Auth Required Msg

I installed IIS on XP development machine. After typing in

http://localhost

I receive message box saying Authorization Required and asks for User ID and Password. Did same install on a different machine and it work fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you don't want to be prompted for authentication set the site to use anonymous access. You can do this on the properties of the web-site.
