Hi,
I am trying to put a new hard drive in my computer. So I installed a 20 GB disk and put on the slave jumper and connected it to the motherboard.
The thing is that the moatherboard finds it but not Windows ME.
Has anyone here run into this problem?
Regards,
liljat

Have you checked the boot order in your BIOS? You may need to see if it is set to boot from the correct drive first. If that does not work, you may want to boot with CD-ROM support.

Yes, I decided to format the drive that WinME is on and put XP instead. Maybe that will find the drive.
Thanks,
liljat

I don't mean to sound funny, but did you actually fdisk/format the new drive?
