New Group Icon missing under AD namespace

We're trying to pull in an AD group. The group and roles icons are missing under the AD namespace. When in Cognos namespace, they are visible along with all the groups/roles. I need to be able to pull in a group from AD but there is nothing there. Any idea's are appreciated!

Does the user that you are logged in with have access to see that group? What build of ReportNet are you currently using?

Yes the user I'm logged in as has access for that group. We are running version 1.1 MR1

We had that problem as well. First, we use Microsoft AD as our authenticaion, but we are on UNIX, so we have to configure as LDAP. Some of our mappings were not correct. Confirm the names with your security folks. Next, the "objectClass" attibute in AD was not indexed. As we have 50,000 groups, we were timing out. It wasn't till we did a trace we found that one out. Once this got indexed, we were finally able to see the objects inside AD.
