New GoldMine/GoldMine Corporate Edition Version 6.70.50123 Is Now Available!
This service pack is a must have for GoldMine customers. GoldMine 6.70.50123 will save you time and increase reliability.
Synchronisation times have improved 500% over version 6.7 and 3,600% over version 6.0. Large and demanding customers can now complete large synchronisations in minutes (individual customer results may vary). Customers can now synchronise more often with greater control over the data synchronised.
In addition to the improvement in synchronization times, the new version provides enhancements to calendar free/busy publishing and local settings for double-byte environments. The new version also contains several fixes relating to various GoldMine features. As a result of these enhancements and fixes, there is less demand on processors, administrative tasks, and greater field reliability.
For customers on maintenance and UPP, it is highly suggested they upgrade to the new version as soon as possible. For the rest of the customers, they need to get on maintenance or UPP immediately to take advantage of this new version and the benefits it brings.
What’s included in this new version?
A highlight of new features and functionality include:
- Reduced Synchronization Times: Linked documents are now compressed in bulk; Transfer set creation for unlinked e-mail has been optimized; and large linked documents now upload/download more efficiently.
- Enhanced Functionality: Calendar and Free/Busy publishing capabilities are now accessible via new calendar local menu options; and local settings allow users to use GoldMine in double-byte environments.
- Increased Stability: Increased compatibility with iCalendar import, Organization Tree contact additions, uninstall registry key removal, Outlook e-mail accessibility via E-Mail Center, and data entry where zeros were removed from values in numeric user-defined fields (dBase installations only).
For a comprehensive list of added features and functionality, see the release notes included with the build.
