This one seems simple. I have a function that gets the user name. I have a table of all the users and a store they are responsible for. I want to create a new function that gives me the store number. I can use this value for reports etc for the user.

There is a built-in function in Access called DLookUp() that should help you.

Ex: DLookUp("StoreNumber","YourTable","[UserName] = '" & LoggedOnUser & "'")

This will return the store number for the current logged on user.

Thanks, that worked great.
