New Extension Password error 1

Good afternoon,
I just added a new extension by creating a new extension record then a user.
The user rights were taken from a template... when I enter extension on phone and same password as the other users it tells me "Invalid".
I tried putting my on password and still doesnt work.
Can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong.

Stretching my memory but think phone password is 9.0, not 8.1.

Pre that the phone uses either 0000 or the Login Code of the user, not the password.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
 
I tried setting the password already with or without
I deleted user and added again, this is what I see in the monitor log:

LoginShortCode: user=Test extn=6818 password_entered=1234(incorrect) forcelogin=0 remote=1




 
Can you check the hotdesking password
Under > User > Telephony > Supervisor Settings.
 
That doesn't matter.

if there is a hotdesk login code, you should still be able to login the extension number.

It will only show 'no user' then
