New Exams

Citrix seem to have slipped some new exams into the CCEA track;

931 - CSG (Presumably replaces Secure ICA, but it's more far-reaching than that - you'd need basic firewall and routing knowledge for CSG.
961 - NFuse "Classic" - note "with Enterprise Services" - I'd guess there's more to this than the old 951 NFuse exam.
991 - Advanced Administration (haven't a clue what could be in this - FR1 features, maybe? - anyone?)

I used the free demo and it looks quite good, but I think the Sybex books that come with free practice exams on a CD are better value, simply because you get a good reference along with the exam practice.

Thanks CitrixEngineer. I'm one of the authors of the Sybex book. I just joined the forums and have only been around for a couple of days.

When the Sybex book came out, we based our style of question on the tests that we saw when we were sitting the exam. A lot of people on Amazon are leaving harsh comments about the questions, but I think they are looking for a "braindump" and that is the LAST thing we wanted to do with this book.

We tried to make it a good reference and not just an "exam cram" type book. We are currently working on new questions as well, that will be included in the second printing of the book.

Hungster - Will not include FR2, as that is not being tested yet. When they come out with the new course and test, we will update. The only thing you get with the second printing is a new set of questions.

CitrixEngineer - I will answer questions in the forum whenever possible. I travel a lot and my visits to the board may be sparratic.

I didn't post to advertise, I hope nobody got that impression. I'll help out whenever I can, but I'll be the first to admit that just because you wrote a book on the subject, doesn't mean that you've seen everything or worked with each Citrix product. For example, I haven't even touched Secure Gateway yet. I'm sure I'll be asking plenty of questions then, and I hope you guys won't say "Hey, you ought to know, you wrote the book!!"

So far I like the boards, I'll gladly do what I can to help.
