I HAD THIS DROPPED ON MY LAP. UP UNTIL NOW I HAVE DONE OK. MY EDI COMES IN OK, BUT AFTER I SEARCH/FLAG/TRANSLATE, I GET AN ERROR MESSAGE --NO OVT00 RECORD FOUND IN TABLES. CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT THIS MEANS & HOW TO FIX IT. I AM NOT A PROGRAMMER BY ANY STRETCH, SO A LAYMANS EXPLANATION WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. ALSO, ANY DIRECTION AS TO WHERE TO GET SOME TRAINING ON THIS WOULD BE GREAT. THANKS, RHONDA

NEW EDI/STX USER EXPERIENCING ERROR MESSAGE

Hi Rhonda.
You say you are using STX - which means (to me) either STX-Dos or STX for Windows. When you state you "SEARCH/FLAG/TRANSLATE" that to me says STX-Dos, but the error you describe ("NO OVT00 RECORD FOUND IN TABLES"
- I've never seen such an error for STX-Dos, which leads me to conclude you are using STXfW?
