New e-mail addresses for all users 1

Our organisation is going through a shake-up resulting in a name change, we have registered the new domain names and for a short while wih to run the 2 names together.

Is their a way to add a new e-mail address to each users account without having to do them one by one?

If so how?

Do a directory export then open the csv file with Excel and add the following header to a column. Secondary-Proxy-Addresses

Save as a CSV file.
Do another directoty export on top of this file and it will populate the Secondary-Proxy-Addresses column. then you can write a simple formula to add the new email address to each person in this row, and then re-import into exchange.

Instant new addresses without removing the old ones.

You can change the SMTP property in Site Addressing setting.
But this will change all mailbox's smtp address. If you want to keep the original as well, you have to add it one by one.

This has got me 90% of the way there, thanks J, however because some of the accounts already contain 2 or 3 addresses the secondary column is already populated, what are the column headers for additional addresses past the secondary?

Oops. If you have your directory exported before, you can look it up from the exported file.

It doesn't list any other e-mails than the primary on the export.

Its OK i've now sorted it, all other addresses are listed under secondary in the format:
smtp:<address1>%smtp:<address2>%smtp:<address3> etc
