I just bought a new IBM DS3512 with Dual Fiber Channel ports. I have also have 2 Cisco 9124 Fabric Switches. I have physically connected as follows:
Card A port 1 to Switch 1 port 1
Card B port 1 to Switch 1 port 2
Card A port 2 to Switch 2 Port 1
Card B port 2 to Switch 2 Port 2

I have a server with dual port card connected with port A on switch 1 port 3 and port B on switch 2 port 3.

I am new to Fiber Channel and Fabric Switches. I have all ports in VSAN 1. Switch 1 has Port 1 is in Zone 2 and port 2 and 3 in zone 1. Switch 2 has port 1 in Zone 2 and port 2 and 3 in zone 1.

I'm not sure the optimal settings for performance and failover. Can someone offer me some advice on the optimal configuration of these device.
