New DID Direct to VM (Help) 1

We have a DID range of 0600 - 0679. The last 20 DIDs are not being used for anything and when called they ring on the Recpistionst phone.

I have given the task of taking one of the DID's and making it ring directly into a Voice Mail Box where the other party will be able to leave a message.

My Question is how can this be done. How do i know which Line the DID comes in on.

FYI - BCM 400 with Call Piolt
- Non PRI T1

Build a target line say for 0679. Pime is Vm lead ext. #

I built Line 321 Private and Public to 0679.

How do I set Prime to VM. Its not an option in the Dropdown... But i have a feeling that I might be looking in the wrong place. I am looking under Trunk/Line Data of line 321. Am i looking in the right spot...

I got the DID to go into the General Mailbox but I can't seem to get it to go into Mailbox 679.

the DID is only a number. It does not have a phone associated with it. I am not sure if that helps..

Hi Nick

The way you set it up is as follows.

Target line 321

Under the general tab is busy to prime

Set the Voicemail as the prime DN.

I think you have doen all this as stated above.

Log on to the call pilot and under mailbox 679 at the very bottom you will see a tab express messaging. Put the target line 321 in there. That way when the system sees a call coming from the target line 321 it will send the call to 679,s mailbox.
