I just got my new laptop and everything works fine except the wireless. If I close the top for a second or hours and open it back up it take forever to find my wireless connection. If I restart it, it will find my wireless connection right away. When I ordered my laptop I got the Dell TrueMoble mini-PC Wireless Card. Does any one know why it takes so long for it to pick up my wireless connection?

In the adapter's property sheet there likely is a setting to disable power management for the adapter. If not there, look in Control Panel under Power Options.

But this might not help. Often after hibernation you can right-click the Internet Icon in the system tray in do a disable/enable sequence.

But that might not always help either.

I know of no foolproof remedy to this issue.
