I am planning to create another schema for a new set of reports in a same database. I would like to know if this change of creating a new schema would impact DNS or new DNS need to be set up if the new reports point to a new schema under same dbase ?

Hi,
What database? The need to change anything could depend on that and your connection method(s).

If you already have an established connection, you might just have to make sure that the username under which your reports connect is granted access to read from that new schema - however as Turkbear suggests...more info on your set up will yield a much better answer. :)
