We are currently using WSS 3 and I am trying to figure out how to add a colorful "New" string of text next to the Tab name of the child site when it has content addtions or changes rather than emailing alerts to users off of changes made to the site.
I was just wondering if anyone has ever created a notification from the parent site to content in a child site to either the top navigation bar or a link in a webpart on the parent site to notify of site changes with either a flashy image or text.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
