New contacts in AD not listed in GAL on client

Hello All,

We have recently been experiencing an issue where new users and contacts in active directory are not being listed in the GAL on the Outlook client. It seems to be related to cached excahnge mode in Outlook. If you untick the box and restart the client the contacts are present. Forcing the GAL to refresh doesn't seem to do anything and I don't hink it is a timing issue because they don't appear weeks after creation. The contacts do appear in the 'All Contacts' list.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
This sounds like an offline address book problem. Anything in the event logs on the server to help? Looks like clients aren't downloading the OAB correctly.
