Newbie question: We have an existing company where users have access on all the modified forms, windows and reports. Unfortunately, the segment was made too short on the original company that is why we created a new company with 4 segments and new user names. Upon testing it, we notice that the modified windows, forms and reports can no longer be used on this new company.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Either use Class security and roll that down to the individuals users of the classes or use Advanced Security to duplicate security from one company to the other.

You can also use the Advanced Security, view by alternate, custom and modified view to easily set access to modified resources.

Please see the Advanced Security FAQ on this website.

I've been getting the following error messages when I try to do transaction in Sales Transaction Entry (Transaction > Sales > Sales Transaction Entry. It happens after I enter document no and customer Id.

"An open operation on table 'ME_RM_EFT_MSTR' failed accessing SQL data"

Can anyone help me please?

sounds like you might have a third party addon that needs to be initialized.

does this error occur when logged in as "sa"? if so, you may have to run a grant statement against your new company database.

That's a Mekorma product. I know there is EFT for payables but didn't realize there was one for Receivables.

Normally, you have to go into the setup of the product and it will either prompt you to create the SQL objects or there is a button to do that.
