this will be like a log of my experience with this refurbished bcm 400 my company purchased for me.
I got it out of the box and had to shake 10-15 screws and parts and two spare media services cards out of the body.

so I took the old hard drive out of the failed bcm and placed it into the new bcm just for fun. I can null modem in and see bcm quick configuration and all the old ip info and stuff, but the lan cards show no lights and no packets sent out.
Im going to try to boot it up with the hard drive that came with it now.
