I'm adding Target lines to Pub receive 7xxx and 3xxx
when I enter the 3xxx I get an error

3xxx is not a valid pub. received#

I have not set up any routing or dest codes to coflict with this as of yet. my 7xxx rang inputs no problem.

any help would be great!

There is a conflict with a DN or Huntgroup.Open all dn's and change the DN's starting with a 3 to 6.

well that bites!
changing from a norstar to a BCM and the customer wants to keep same config ext 2xx ,3xx ,4xx all the same sets and button programming

maybe I'll have to tell telco send me 3 digits not 4
so I'll rcv 8xx and 0xx

The MICS can rcv 225 and have ext 2xx in it whats the deal with the BCM any idea?

Thanks for the reply

I also thought that the Rec and Extension digits can match. It's just Access codes, Park, ect.. that you have to worry about.

received digits can match an extension number. They can't conflict with a destination code, park code, line pool access code. Did you set this up as a DID template? That template fills in received digits for all target lines. Also check the voicemail prefix digits, in call pilot manager, under system properties. They are 11 and 19 typically though.

you may be on to something I did us the DID template and it input 3xx on some of the target lines that may be the conflict. I'll delete all the 3 targets and see what I get

Thanks
