New BCM 450, setup ip phones

I have a new BCM 450 setup I'm fairly green(newbie) when it comes to this. I would like to use some ip phones but have no idea what I need to do to start. I installed the keycodes for the ip handsets. If I purchase a couple 1140E handsets what do I have to setup to use them? Please go easy with the acronyms...

Have you called your local vendor (a tech) for a mini training session?
Have you read any of the manuals on the BCM itself?

This is a forum to help other techs, not to give training/ step by step procedures to end users. Your best bet is to hire a local Nortel tech and while they're there ask questions.
