New baby and SMDR

For you guys that wished me well with the new baby, I thought I would let you know we have a healthy baby girl named Haley Elizabeth. Likes to cry alot, but I hope she soons grows out of that. Big sister is excited too.

My posts have been pretty non-existant the last month since it has been pretty hectic.

On a tech note, I hope someone can verify the SMDR settings for a Legend. Using hyperterminal, I thought it what 7,E,1 and 1200 baud, but can't seem to get it to work. Serial port is fine, and the SMDR shows up using the monitor function. Any ideas? What about flow control?

Settings should be 8-N-1, 1200 baud. Flow control can be turned off. Congrats on your new daughter!

By the time she grows up, phones will probably be history anyway. My daughters will always have the freedom to do whatever they want in life, after they finish graduating from college and get a good paying job or they win Wimbelton that is
