New Announcement Board

I am looking to add a 2nd announcement board to my Defninity 3G. I am wondering if the TN750C is a plug and play device or does it require a significant amount of configuring. I need this 2nd announcement board for a call center environment that has several announcements.

A tn750c is very similiar to the tn750a & b, but it can back up the announcements on the board instead of having to do it to a flash card of G3R hard disk and tape. There is a new VAL announcement board that u can backup annoucements to your network hard drive.

Thanks for the helpful information. The reason that I need the 2nd board is that the first board no longer has enough room for me to record additional announcements.

I would recommend that you do a “erase announcements” command on this new board after you have it installed. The last one I did, tier 3 in Denver told me to run that command before I started actually began recording my new announcements. I believe they sometimes they leave test recordings on the boards was the theory.
