New analog line setup 1

Could anyone please help me how to setup a new analog line in CS1000 ? What are the pre-requisites and requirements w.r.t both configuration and cards/devices ?

You will need to have an Analogue Trunk Card that were usually 8 port ones and it needs to be plugged into a spare card slot with the wiring patched out.

I have attached aa very old example of setting up a UK COT trunk. Certain settings will be different in other countries and if the trunks are loop or earth calling (ground start) etc.

Analog trunk or analog phone? Big difference. When you say "Analog Line" that references a phone not a trunk
