New ACD agent

I have a new employee replacing an acd agent. I do not want to lose any data in Symposium reporting.
If I delete the old user and assign that login id to the new user, will the data be lost? or do I need to assign a new login id and change the phoneset in the switch to the new pos id?

Could you run all the reports for the old user then delete the old user from Symposium?

It sounds like you are wanting to re-ues the same TN and POS ID in the switch.

Don't delete the agent if you want to keep their historical data. We've been told by our Nortel guy that the best/common way to deal with this is to assign old agents to a dummy supervisor.

yes, wanting to reuse the pos id but still keep the agent info for historical reporting. what i did for now is create new user in symposium w/ new pos id in switch

best way to go, keep that station data untouched until you arcive the old user data..
