I just installed a new KD7A and it will not post. Help! Never seen this before. I've cleared the bios. I turned off the PSU for 1 minute and booted while pressing the insert key ( Owner's manual )Nada, zero , zilch.

I'm assuming that you're not getting any
power at all, or just for a breef second
if any. If that's the case, I'd say that
you're shorting out against the case. Try
loosening all of the screws and try
rebooting agin.If that does it, install
some NYLON STANDS. That should take care
of it.

If your not getting any post codes (beeps, etc) when you startup, try removing everything from the motherboard and reboot. Add one at a time (with reboots) the RAM, CPU, HDD. Note where it stops giving you error beeps.

Make sure that your CPU is supported by the board, it might be that the board only supports it after a later BIOS revision. If this is the case then you will need to get a later BIOS revision and apply it before it will recognize your CPU.
