Does anyone know how to get the XBK function to work on a 1000E that used to be a 61c. Seems like it should work according to all the doc's but I get a (TTY not on Call Server Error.)

Is there a parameter that I'm Missing that I should set since this used to be a 61 c.

I've performed this exact function on other 1000e's but they used to be 11c's or 1000s's.

Thanks

XBK doesn't apply to large system. As all new systems are "Large" there is no way to use this feature again. You can use the "backup rules" from element Manager or LD 117 to backup the configuration to a remote server. If you wish to backup it remotly, use FTP and transfert the contains of RMD or only database.rec + config.rec + inet.db

I've already performed XBK's on 2 upgraded 1000E's. One successful and one not successful. They are the same in software PBX type and Revision level.

PBX type 4021
Release 5.0

The only difference is that the successful one's upgrade path was 1000s to 1000e.

The unsuccessful one's path is 61c to 1000e.

My biggest problem is that since I knew about the upgrades I knew to look check to see if XBK worked. In the future I may not know if a switch is a converted small system or large system.

Any ideas?
