Hi Guys

We have a IP Office 403 ver 3.2(61) and only 4606 handsets.

I recently got a new 4606 handset out of the box and plugged it into our POE switch, it went through the discovery process, got DHCP and then froze on downloading 46xxsettings.txt

Tried it a couple of times and had the same issue.

I found a post on the net talking about problems with the 46settings.txt file and it recommended to rename it so it wouldn't be found and then see what happened next!

I tried this and it progressed further, according to the TFTP log it downloaded the 46xxupgrade.scr file and then started downloading the b20d01a2_3.bin file and then stopped part way through.....

I am now stuck. Tried another new handset and have the same problem

I read through the .scr file and it had 2 sections refering to the 4606 handset, one refers to a def06r1_8_3.bin and the other to a bbla0_83.bin
Neither of which is shown as being downloaded in the TFTP log.

I have tried another new (Refurb) handset, same problem.

It could be that since the firmware on our switch (Upgraded Nov 2009) was last upgraded we haven't added any new handsets - therefore something was broken during the upgrade that has only now become apparent.

Ive checked the software running on an existing working handset and its def06r_1_8_3.bin.

Any suggestions, ideas, advice gratefully appreciated!
