New 24PRT card kills other cards in PIM during install 1

I'm in the process of adding a new 24PRT card to an ICS. I worked a little with ISDN PRI-s before, and here I follow step-by-step instructions from the NTAC Knowlegde Base on ISDN programming.

The problem is that somewhere along the process, other cards in the shelf start malfunctioning. I have DAIA cards, running DRU-s in that shelf, and phones of those DRU-s become un-responsive.

This is a 2-stack ICS, I'm using Slot 15+16 in PIM 4. This corresponds to LEN 021000-021037.

In that shelf I already have the following cards:
Unit 0: blank, DAIA, blank, DAIA, blank, PRT, PRT, DAIA, DAIA
Unit 1: blank, blank (i'm trying to use this slot), blank, DAIA, blank, DAIA, DAIA, DAIG, DAIG.

As soon as I turn off this new PRI card, and reset the malfunctioning DRU-card, it works fine again.

Any ideas?
 
I resolved the original problem. Moved the circuit card to a different PIM and now the problems are gone. The manual says you can't had more than 2 Channel Handlers in a unit or more than 20 in a system. In NEC language, UNIT means half a PIM or half a shelf. In that meaning, I had no other Channel Handler in that unit. But I had 2 other ones on that Shelf.
So as soon as I moved the card to a PIM, where the total number of Channel Handler was 1, problems disappeared.

NOW. I can originate a call from NEC and it terminates fine in the other system, which is an Asterisk. They can even see my caller ID, which is my station number. But they can't call me. When they originate a call, there is a request on the D-channel to establish a connection. It gets established, but then immediately disconnected by the NEC.
Might be some digit translation problem, or something completely different. Ideas?
 
I got that one resolved too. Asterisk was sending data on the D-channel that was not recognized by NEC and the calls were rejected. My * friend changed something in the data format on his end, and all of a sudden it works.

Calls go both ways with called ID.
