How can I get rid of the popup to download MAcromedia Flash in Internet explorer ?
I do not want to download it and the only option is to "Always trust contents from Macromedia"
I would like a checkbox to "Never trust Macromedia" or some other trick to suppress this popup.

Any ideas ???

You obviously have an older computer...all new ones are sold with the flash player pre-installed. More and more web sites are using Flash to get their users attention and it is working quite well apparently. If you don't want to install the player and do not want to be bothered with the future of the web then I suggest you get away from the internet. I do not say this in a bad way...it's just the bare facts. Static websites are quickly becoming a thing of the past. Ya' Gotta Love It!

I think you're question would be more easily answered in another forum such as "Windows Operating System" or whatever it is on Tek-tips.

Asking a bunch of people in a Flash forum how to 'not' download the Flash plugin seems a tad pointless.
