I have a site with IP406 V2 3.2.57 (PRI). The issue is that when you call their Main # from outside the location the call goes through as it should, but if you dial the Main # from within the Office you get a busy. No other local calling is affected.

The SC being used is:

When I monitor the call digits sent are 934XXXX and the call is setup but then I get a Disconnect on Layer 1 of ISDN and the a Cause Code:17 (User Busy)

This seems to me to be a translation issue with the CLEC but I just wanted to get some input on anyone elses thinking.

maybe the CLEC doesn't allow you to call yourself, unlikely I know.
also maybe there is an incoming caller ID routing that would be sending it to nowhere and the call is denied.
just a guess but maybe worth a look

Issue Resolved:

After speaking with the CLEC I was told that since these are VoIP Trunks the Network will not allow the BTN to be called from the BTN's location, the same is not true for PRI. I was not aware of the facy that the Trunks were VoIP since they are setup the same in Manager as PRI.

Many CLECs seem to have this issue of not allowing you to dial yourself from yourself.

It becomes a real pain when setting up and testing a fax server. You have to go next door and fax over and over and over.

I have done installations with sip trunks that where converted to pri and did not have that problem
It should not matter !
