Networks and passwords.

I am trying to network a desktop(win2k) and a laptop(win98) with a linksys router. I have the internet connection working for both computers and am in the process of setting up the network. I can access the laptops files from the desktop but when I try to access the desktop from the laptop it asks for a password. The problem is that I never set a password. What can I do?
 
You need to add as new users the username and password of computer B to computer A.

All of your network computers should have matching entries as local users. Do not use blank or empty passwords.
