I need to network four MICS together. I have point to point T1's from the main site to each of the other three sites that are exhisting for data. The customer said I could have 6-8 channels off of each of them so I was going to take an Adtran TSU 120 and break them out. However I was told the MICS in my main site would only support 3 DTI cards. I need four because I will have a PRI in the main site also. Has anyone got any ideas. One of the sites don't need but a couple of talk paths and all I am interested in is having them talk I don't need centralized voicemail on nothing like that. Could I possibly use a E&M trunk card to my advantage here some how. I am just trying to figure out how to do this utilizing their exhisting T1's and have all four sites talk to each other. Any input would be appreciated.

That fourth site could be accessed using the nortel VOIP gateway (4 voice channels on each unit)
Not the best idea out there

you could also try to get access from one of the other sites to the fourth site.

If voting could really change things, it would be illegal.

Thanks I will research that. Is there a way to use one DTI card to access three different T1's. I have heard that there might be a type of CSU/DSU that would break out (just for example) maybe 6 channels from each T1 and then put them into one DTI card. If so could I even route that out of the Norstar. I have networked before but I have never tried to send trunks 1-6 one way and 7-12 another etc.

I don't think you can pass calls for two or more locations over a single PRI in the SL1 networking mode. you probably need to talk to a design engineer at nortel to see what your options are

you might be stuck with setting up an option 11 as a master for your network and have all the DTI going into that (boy would that be ugly)
