I have Small Business Server 25 client, running exchange and SQL 2000, it is the domain server and also a 2nd server with server 2000 running about 10 web pages for non-profits, (very low hits).

We have 20 workstations running windows XP.

The domain server seems very slow, exchange 2000 seems to be taking all the resources.

I bought a 2nd Small Business server, and also Server 2003. I am planning on separating out SQL from Exchange 2000, and upgrading the web page server to Server 2003. I found out that the second Small business server can't be apart of the domain.

What is the best way to divide up the load, and will there be a problem with either SQL 2000 or Exchange 2000 not being on the domain? I would think it would be better for the Exchange server to be the one not on the domain?
