Networking with two sources

Here is the scenario...Computers 1,2,3, and 4 are connected via an smc router to a cable connection. Computer 5 is connected directly to ADSL but with a second NIC card to be able to acces the network of the other computers. My problem is that computer 5 automatically takes the cable connection instead of the adsl connection. Any ideas how to rectify this???
