Ok... I got 2 computers.. The host computer has 2 nic's, one connected to the broadband modem which is connected to the Web.. the other is connected to the Linksys router where my other computer "client" is connected. I can get the client computer connected to the internet as long as I bridge the two nic cards in the host computer. But, I cannot login into the linksys router. The only way I can login into the linksys router is if I set up my network like this... Internet --> Cable "Broadband" Modem --> Linksys Router --> Computers... Then I can go to and access router configuration... But, I want to set up my network this way... Internet --> Cable "Broadband" Modem--> Host Computer --> Linksys Router --> Client Computers... My Internet Protocol settings are always set to Obtain ip address auto... and dns the same... I believe I have to have these settings.. If anyone knows different.. let me know?
I'm having a hard time finding info on how to set up networks that look like mine.... I'm also running firewall software "Norton" on the host computer.. I'm not sure if I have to bridge the two network cards in the host computer to get things to work...but it's the only way so far I can share the internet with mutltiple computers.. Hope this is enough information...??

Thx

Your Linky is capable of sharing your internet connection with 253 computers, so no software Internet connection sharing is necessary. Just plug your computers to LAN ports with DHCP and enjoy.

Disable/remove the other unused NIC though.

If your cable provider is checking your MAC address, just clone the MAC of your host to Linky.

Thx for your reply... I am able to gain access to the confuration via my client computer.. I guess I'm just confused about the topology of my network.. The linksys router has to be infront of the computer to get access to it.. not behind it.. doh.. hehe.. I'm new to networking so the things you mentioned above don't make much sense to me. I set my network up the way because it seems to be the correct way to do it or atleast what I've been reading. I like the fact that I only need to have a firewall on the host computer and I should be able to set up a gaming computer on the network that has complete access to the internet.. That leads me to another question.. I want to host a Medal of Honor game... Not had much luck getting this done with a firewall.. Any suggestions?? Thx again..

Sounds like DHCP server is a good solution.... Thanks... I'm reading up on it and gonna give it a try...
