I have been trying to get Windows XP Pro and Norton Antivirus 2005 to work together so that I can share files and print on a 5 PC network. When I uninstall NAV, it works great. When I reinstall NAV, it won't share anymore. I set up NAV to allow sharing and the firewall on the LAN settings are set to off. I know the network will work because when NAV is off, it works, on, it does not. Even dissabling NAV does not work. If anyone can help that would be great.

get rid of norton junk. your network will be a nightmare with norton. use microsoft anti-spyware instead.

I tend to agree, if you use any networking NAV becomes a nightmare in technicolors. Get rid of it. Use AVG or another free antivirus software. MS anti-spyware is quite good but does not pick all maleware up. Use a combination of two or more and you will be ok.
