I have introduced a Windows XP machine into a network which comprises a mixture of Windows 98 and Windows 95 machines. All the Windows 98 Network OK with the XP machine. However, the Windows 95 machines do not see the XP machine and the XP machine does not see the Windows 95 machines.

Is there a known compatability issue between XP and Windows 95 networking ?????

try disabling QoS in XO, and running over ipx. THere is also a way to install NetBuei in XP, which may solve the problem/

I have XP, Win98, and WinME working great on a network. I assigned the XP machine ip address 192.168.0.1 the ME wirh 0.2 and the 98 with 0.3. I also made the gateway for every machine 192.168.0.1. Try that.
