I have been unable to make "My Network Places" communicate with Network Neighborhood on my Win 98 SE machine. It has been this way for over a year.

Finally decided to dump AOL. When I uninstalled the AOL Connection software on the ME machine, all network functions such as printer and file sharing started working. I had not been using AOL on the Win (98 machines.

Maybe that is why they claim to be number 1. When using AOL, nothing else will work.

I'm not a fan of AOL. I have had nothing but "issues" with their software and services, so I'll leave it there.

Your best bet now, from my experience, is a complete rebuild of the PC, ie format, boot from setup disk and start from scratch.

Not appealing, I know, but it's the best solution I've found for AOL.

Hope this is helpful CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk
