i am using a actiontec gt701r dsl modem from Qwest DSL and i am trying to hookup a d-link wbr-1310 wireless router but when i insert the installation disc it tells me that it detected a router already on the network. i cant figure out what to shut off on the modem to stop its routing functions so that i can configure the d-link. please help me figure this out because d-link and qwest both couldnt help me. i am using PPPoA on the modem and in the d-link setup at 192.168.0.1 for the internet connection there is no choice for PPPoA, if anyone else has this d-link wireless router and actiontec modem and figured it out please help me. all help is greatly appreciated.

Connect directly with a cable to your D-Link router.
Access its web-based setup page using your Browser.
Disable the DHCP server.
Save your settings. (There is nothing else to set).

Take a regular ethernet cable and connect from the Uplink port ((not the WAN/Internet port)on the D-link to a regular LAN port on the Actiontec.

Power off all computers, routers, modems.

Power on the Actiontec, when stable power on the D-link, and when stable power on the workstations.

The Actiontec should be set to PPoA, and the username and password information supplied in its setup pages.
