Is it at all possible for to share information on Sidekick?

I'm working in a LAN enviornment supported by a Server. I'm wondering if Sidekick is capable of supporting this sort of thing. 3 seperate users (on 3 systems) are using Sidekick, but I'd like them all to see eachothers updated info.

I tried a "fake" version of this by saving all of the userdata files onto our server, which works but when they users go to "Save All" an error window appears:

"Cannot access the file at this time or not enought disk space to save file."

Disk space is not a problem, which leads me to believe that it must have a problem "accessing the file". My conclusion is then that there must be default memory kicking in causing the "Save All" feature to attempt a save in the original Userdata file, instead of the new server file it came from. This would not be a problem excpet when you close Sidekick it automatically does "Save All"

Is there anything I can do?
Thanks for your help,
Rob

Dear Kiljo,
The straightforward answer is yes Sidekick cardfiles cannot be shared over a network or NO you cannot share them!!!
There is NO record locking the last person saves their data over all the previous saves!

There are other options as people can view cardfiles that are read-only and can copy cards from those Cardfiles to an identical temporary cardfile that can be re-merged with the cardfile that (you as administrator) is not read-only...
The temporary cardfile is not really temporary, only in the fact that you clear its contents out once you have merged its contents.
You could use a program like carbon copy to take over the other person's desktop while you do the merging and then re-instate the temporary and the MAIN Cardfile as Read Only
It takes 10 seconds if you use a batch file to reset the attributes. and you can disable that persons mouse and keyboard while you do it.
You can obviously have more than one 'temporary' Cardfile but each of them have to update the MAIN cardfile and then that file has to be copied to each workstation.
