I have 2 servers running win 2k advanced server, I am trying to allow a client in server 1 domain to ping a client in server 2 domain, I have used a pc with two ethernet cards on a computer running win 2k proffesional
I would like the communication to flow through this bridge, the two servers use different ip addresses, basically I would like to set up the pc with the two nic's in it to act as a router of sorts...

any Ideas....

You can probably find routing software for w2k on the internet. You could also place the burden of routing on one of the servers. Put the 2nd nic in one of the servers and configure routing through RRAS.

Buying a router is out of the question?

thanks...
At the moment the router is out of the question

I got the router working by using a 'spare' pc installed win 2k advance server on it used 2 nic on it, set the domain servers to router, all is now working fine... except I can no longer log on with a 'new' user from a client pc, users that were created befor can log on but if I create a new user that belongs to all the same groups with all the same rights he can no log on to the domain, get a message saying that the domain is not availible, but I can then log in with a user from the same group etc.... talk about pain in the arse
