networking problem

I Have a couple of Windoze boxes networked with my Mandrake 10.1 via a Netgear switch/router.
I can only see one of them through the network.
I can Ping both of them.

I would like to be able to get to both of them.
Any Suggestions would be appriciated.

Have you got the shares setup on the unseen win box?

no. I don't have a share tab in my win box folder options. How can I get it????

I presume that you are using Win98 then.
Turn on file & printer sharing in network properties.

yes win98.
file and print sharing is already turned on.
any other guesses?

never mind.
Don't i feel like a shmuck.
I uninstalled all of the network stuff, and let windows reinstall what it wanted.
Now it all works properly!
When in doubt uninstall!

You think you know what it needs, but it thinks it knows better.
