Hi, Can someone explain to me the steps taken to network an existing mics and cics for basic ext to ext dialing on a internal lan. I have the gateways setup on both systems using 4 trunk lines on each. How do I setup the pbx's in terms of pool's, DN's, DID, Access codes. I can at the moment talk to the attendants at each office, but haven't got it figured to dial directly to extensions.

dont think u can...gateway is for analog trunks not digital or DID..norstar is NOT ip capable never was never will...now u may be able to use routing ... then once u reach farend AA.. dialout for the extensions on iether site..Not sure

If you can ring the attendant at the CICS end you could have those trunks answer on DISA and ring each DN that way with out any additional equipment. On the MICS end you would need more equipment for that to happen.
