Hi.

I wonder if there is a way (or if it´s possible) to connect to a computer thru a network built up with a optic cable (1 gb) and get a streaming view of what´s happening on that computer.

For example (not a very good one, but it´s just to get you the idea)

Thru a server which executes a program that connects computer A with computer B, I get a direct connection between A and B.

Now computer B can see exactly what´s happening on computer A and can even control the action (mouse movement and so on) on computer A, with just a couple of ms delay.

Ok. Now I guess some guys refers this to a program called "Netbus" that was used illegaly a couple of years ago. But what I´m trying to do is defenately not illegal.

Anyone now how to solve this (or if it´s impossible) ?

I got a computer engineering degree, so I got some clues about c and c++...:D

Thnxs.

yep vnc, we use it at work a lot to remotely access a pc on a hardware bench from our desks. its kindof clunky over a regular 10/100 network with the usual amount of office traffic but if you've got a 1Gbps link it should work like a dream. also there are linux implementations for it, not sure if they're open source or not but it would be interesting to get a look at the technology behind it.
