Hi all,

How would I create a connection that would constantly be waiting for input from another computer, but still allowing the user to do work in the foreground? I assume it has something to do with multi-threading, but I'm not exactly sure how.

Thanks in advance!

While that website had a lot of good information, it didn't quite answer my question.

I've looked at examples online, but all I can find are connections that send information, then close. I want to send information, wait for a response, send some more stuff, etc.

Thanks again,

Hm. Well - I only had a quick view to that side - it's not very informative and 6 years old.
Here is a 4 years old page, with a whole example:

If you allways send requests and expect response, you don't need a server-socket.

If you expect 'response' without request, you act as a server yourself, and need server-sockets too.
