Can any one provide me with a simple way to get my two pcs and laptop to use one DSL modem. I am running XP on the laptop and one of the pcs and Windows ME on the other pc. I know I need to purchase a router, but after that I am not sure what steps I would need to take. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

1) Buy DSL, install it according to vendor
2) Obtain userID and password from DSL vendor
3) Buy Dlink DI-614+ DSL-ready router
4) Configure Dlink router with ID and PW from #2
5) Profit

OH yeah, you'll need to cable to the devices together or obtain appropriate Wi-Fi wireless NICs for the computers.

Well there are many routers to choose from, as long as it provides the function of a DSL Router/Modem/Switch you should be just fine. They are usually quite easy to set up with the basic functions.

I have used several Draytek routers and been happy with them; I have yet to try a Dlink but they seem to be well received.
