Hi,

i have installed MCDN Networking over PRI with BCM400 and Opt11.
When -120 (11c) call -240 (BCM) it works fine.
When -240 (BCM) call -120 (11c) it don´t work.

With the BCM Monitor i have make a Screenshot:

Call%20Trace%201.jpg

Call%20Trace%202.jpg

I think the cause: "massage not compatible with call state" is the problem, but i don´t know, where can I find a solution.
any things about that? THX

Where are you located?
I see in the setup message you're using G711 A-law.
North America uses u-law.

Here is the definition of the cause code:
Cause No. 98 - message not compatible with call state or message type non-existent or not implemented.
This cause indicates that the equipment sending this cause has received a message such that the procedures do not indicate that this is a permissible message to receive while in the call state. or a STATUS message was received indicating an incompatible call state.

This is typically a protocol issue.

HTH!

SD

thank you for replay.

I´m lokated in germany. A-Law is normal, not the problem.
I know the definition from the cause, because i don´t know where or what ist the wrongdoer.

Try putting the parameter Nam against the D channel and see if that fixes your problem. Either that or try switching of send name display on the BCM.

Marshall

[thumbsup] - upgradet from 2.5

and these Patches are installed:

ASN1Update 06/17/2004 4:19p
SSM_36001111 06/28/2004 12:17p
BCM_360.092_RCC.61.044 12/14/2004 3:36p
BCM_370.105_CORE.08.0708 03/14/2006 7:49a
BCM_370.103_FEPS.33.371700 03/14/2006 10:37a

i hope that the Core Patch fix it, but not real.

I have a doc regarding BCM interop issues might be worth a look rather than me asking question after question.

Marshall

I will put it on my site if you need the info.

would be fine if u put it on ur site so we can have a look... extension range is 1xx... we dont have right now signaling server... its simple standard MCDN PRI connection...

regards,

subx

the opt11 send 103240 when i make a call to the BCM.
I think it´s normal for MCDN:

1 = PNI
0 = Customer
3 = NCOS
240 = ext. on the BCM

I send this Information from the BCM (in the Route - ext. Number) to the Succ. Then the ext. -120 ring only one time and the Cause Massage comes.
When I send not the Tel. will not ring.

1. Info - now I have inst. the BCM_370[1].110_CUMULATIVE.99.1 Patch an it´s the same Prob.
2. Info - with NCOS 7 the same (107120)

Are you sure the meridian is striping off the incoming info. I would try a straight pool access and dial the extension number and see if you have the same problem.

Marshall

with the straight access (without 103) the Telefon -120 will not ring.
The cause in this case is the same.
