I am attempting to log on to my computer at work from my laptop at home.
I am new to this so I hope this doesn't sound overly simple.
Once I get to the Remote Web Workplace screen (from which I should be able to select from the different computers in the office) I get the following... (and once I click on the OK at the end of the message, it brings me back one screen where I can once again pick Read My Company Email or Connect to my Computer at Work.
"This portion of the Remote Web Workplace requires the Microsoft Remote Desktop ActiveX Control. Your browser's security settings may be preventing you from downloading ActiveX controls. Adjust these settings and try to connect again."
I've been in the Internet Options/Security Settings and have tried to enable or be prompted for any ActiveX feature.
I also do not get the little bar that goes atop the screen that would prompt me to download the ActiveX.
Where should I be looking to correct this?
Computers at work are new and are xp pro. I am on a laptop with xp home, but I have done this on another xp home computer successfully.
Thank you very much.
Nick
