Does anyone know if you can network a Magix with a Toshiba? They want to be able to transfer calls between two locations. Both locations will have their own lines, but at night they would call forward the Magix to the Toshiba.
Thanks.

Well in theory no. Will Avaya support such thing, no. Do you have any kind of link between the 2 sites. You won't be able to network the 2 via point to point. Unless someone else knows a way. I've done things like this via a frame relay network and FXS cards in the backs of cisco 2400 routers. You really should just put system in the toshiba side. Do it refurbed or get a older legend. That way it will be cheaper for the customer.

You can always just remote call forward the lines, or trunk to trunk transfer from an extension. A true networking attempt would most likely be a mess.

I know nothing of the Toshiba. However, if it supports TIE LINES, you could use that connectivity.

If it supports T1, then you can set up a T1 with Tie Lines as well.
