have two computers running XP pro with lan connection to router. They both also have wireless usb network cards as well for the Internet connection to an external internet source. One computer set up network bridge and is working fine communicating with Internet and with other computer. 2nd computer does not work with lan or Internet.

DHCP is turned on on the router and the router is set to 192.168.1.1

can you ping the router from the PC? What's the PC's ip address? ipconfig?

Erik

yes but for some reason it seems that the router is the route of the problem.
How should the network be configured in order for this set up to work. Should the wireless and lan adapters on both ocmputers be bridged?
