I am doing networking between BCM400 and CS100e 5.0 but when I am adding the virtual trunk the statues of the trunks always shows IDEL UNREGISTERED.

Any idea what is the problem becauseI have done it before with CS1000s when I am adding the trunks shows registered.

Thanks.

yes it is registered. but when i did it on CS1000s 4.5 before i register the systems in the NRS only after i have configured the trunks it shows register.

In BCM element manager go to resources/telephony resources and select IP trunks. On the bottom of the screen select H323 Settings and check the box to enable H245 tunnelling. Wait about ten minutes and try placing a call.

mmm2000,
Did the tunneling protocol fix your issue? If so and you're networking Call Pilot to the BCM you're going to have some issues with the BCM not forwarding unanswered virtual trunk calls to voice mail about 50 percent of the time. Let me know and I can get you in on my case number with ETAS. They wrote a patch to fix it about three weeks ago and it failed so they are working on another one. I had to do tons of etherreal captures. Just thought I'd spare you the nightmare.
